Privacy & your data

Your household's data is yours.

The short version, in plain words. The full privacy policy has every detail.

We never

  • Sell your data.
  • Show you ads.
  • Use your information to train AI, or let our suppliers do it.
  • See your card number. Payments go straight to Stripe.

You can always

  • Download a complete, readable copy of everything.
  • Do that even after your access has ended.
  • Delete your whole household yourself, from Settings.

Where it's stored

Your household's data is stored in Canada, in Montréal.

A few things are handled outside Canada, and we'd rather tell you than bury it:

  • AI features. When you use a brain dump or ask Cove to read a photo, that text or image is processed by Cloudflare and may be handled outside Canada. It isn't stored there or used for training.
  • Email (password resets, reminders) is sent through Resend, in the United States.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, in the United States.

The wall display

A tablet set up as the wall display only shows the family view. Money, logins and settings never appear on it.

This website

This site has no tracking, no analytics cookies and no ads. If you turn on Calm mode, that choice is saved on your own device and nowhere else.
